About me

I teach Nepal Bhasa (Newar) in an approachable and engaging way, helping learners build confidence in language, communication and cultural connection.

I also offer dance lessons to nurture creative expression, and occasional maths support for learners who need extra guidance. My teaching is warm, practical and centred on each learner's goals.

Teaching background
Over 10 years of experience teaching Nepal Bhasa (Newar) and classical/contemporary dance to children, youth, and adults in traditional and modern settings.
Learner levels
Beginner to intermediate levels (Ages 6 and above, including customized adult conversational classes).
Class formats
One-on-one private sessions, small group classes (in-person in Nepal and online via Zoom/Google Meet).

Master's Degree , with a strong focus on Newar cultural heritage, language preservation, and performing arts.

Teaching experience

Over 10 years of experience teaching Nepal Bhasa, dance, and academic support to children and adults. I focus on creating a warm, encouraging environment where learners of all levels can build confidence and master new skills at their own pace.

Training & workshops

Completed specialized training in Nepal Bhasa literature, traditional dance forms, and interactive teaching methods. These workshops help me keep lessons engaging, patient, and tailored to each student's unique needs.
